This week’s episode of Autism Parenting Secrets is all about the key role that YOU play in supporting your child.

Our guest is Manisha Lad.  She’s a fellow parent who is on a mission to help other parents.

In 2002, Manisha’s only son, Akhil, was diagnosed with Autism at eighteen (18) months. 

Manisha and her husband devoted themselves to providing Akhil with the most suitable treatments available in the United States

And that led her to establish the Akhil Autism Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to global autism education, treatment, and research. 

She also established The Sensory Pathway Center in New Jersey (USA), a state-of-the-art facility focused on helping families with neurodiverse children grow and develop their skills. 

She has collaborated with influential figures such as Dr. Temple Grandin and Deepak Chopra and recently hosted a Neurodiversity Symposium.

Manisha’s son Akhil is now in college, and she continues to create lasting change in the lives of those with neurodiverse conditions.

Manisha’s story is inspiring.

Manisha Lad is the Founder & Executive Director of Akhil Autism Foundation.  In 2002, Manisha’s only son, Akhil, was diagnosed with Autism at only eighteen months. While this news was hard to digest at first, Manisha and her husband completely devoted themselves to providing Akhil with the most suitable treatments available in the United States. This lead Manisha to establish the Akhil Autism Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to global autism education, treatment, and research, along with The Sensory Pathway Center in New Jersey (USA), an amazing state-of-the-art facility focused on helping families with neurodiverse children grow and develop their skills.
